Dodge County Huber Inmate Back In Custody

A missing Huber inmate from Dodge County was found and arrested in North Fond du Lac Saturday. David D. Pirtle was reported missing by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office back on February 2. Pirtle had an active arrest warrant through Dodge County, and his last known address was on North Military in Fond du Lac, but had also been known to frequent an address on Morris St. in Fond du Lac as well as a Michigan St. address in North Fond du Lac.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s logs shows deputies were on the scene in the 100 block of Winnebago St. in North Fond du Lac shortly after 3:00 p.m. Saturday, where they took Pirtle back into custody. Pirtle had admitted to jumping out of a window of a residence on Winnebago St. and running over to the residence on Michigan Ave., in an attempt to switch his jacket and hat, apparently in an effort to conceal his idenitity.

David Pirtle was serving a 120-day and 60-day Huber sentence on GPS electronic monitoring for Operating While Intoxicated and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer. Pirtle was turned over to Dodge County authorities.
