Donation Made To Adult Day Services

The Improved Order of Red Men, of Fond du Lac, recently presented a $1,000 donation to the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation to support St. Agnes Hospital Adult Day Services, located at 420 E. Merrill Avenue in Fond du Lac.

            The Improved Order of Red Men is a patriotic fraternity chartered by Congress. It is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting patriotism, supporting various charitable programs and providing social activities for members.

            Those presenting the donation to Kathy Kempf, RN, BSN, director of St. Agnes Hospital Adult Day Services (far right) and Michelle Ries, Agnesian HealthCare Foundation events coordinator (second from right), included: (left to right) Roger Thome, Willard (Willy) Matznick, Orville Haensgen and Jerome Bord. The donation was made possible thanks to proceeds from the Order’s annual Alzheimer’s dinner and raffle in October 2013.

            Adult Day Services provides nursing care and daily living assistance to the chronically ill, disabled and elderly in the Fond du Lac area. Adult Day Services can provide a quality of life to the many who need this service and also offer a respite for family members who have taken on a caregiving role. To learn more, call (920) 921-5812.
