DOT Offers Renewal Extension For Licenses

There’s at least one thing positive that has come out of the pandemic. A drivers license extension from the Wisconsin DOT. If you are under the age of 60, and your license expired during the Safer At Home order, you now have until July 25 to renew it with no penalties incurred. The DOT estimates there are roughly eighty thousand drivers that had a license expire in the past 90 days, and most are able to renew online. If you are 60 or older, you will have until September 24 to complete the renewal process.
