Drive Sober Enforcement Results Announced

Fond du Lac County Law Enforcement agencies made 24 OWI
arrests during the recent Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign. The
enforcement effort for the holiday period ran from December 14^th through
January 1^st, and while its primary focus was on impaired driving –
officers around the county had their eyes on other areas as well. Officers
issued citations for 180 speeding violations, nine safety belt violations, 44
operating after revocation or suspension violations and five traffic sign or
traffic light violations. 16 drug arrests were made, along with five
misdemeanor and four felony arrests. “Our goal throughout the year is to help
make our roadways and communities as safe as possible for everyone,” Sheriff’s
Captain Bill Tadych said.
