Drivers Can Expect More Detours Starting Monday 3/9 In FDL

The City of FDL Department of Public Works reminds the motoring public that the start of the North Main Street Reconstruction Project begins Monday.  

Starting Monday, March 9, Merrill Avenue from Main Street to Macy Street will be closed to all traffic and will remain closed during the project. Beginning Monday, March 16, Main Street from Merrill Avenue to Johnson Street and Merrill Avenue from Portland Street to Main Street will close for the reconstruction of Main Street. 

A signed detour will be place for Main Street traffic.  The signed detour will utilize traffic to Johnson Street, Park Avenue, Macy Street, and Division Street.
