Drugs Also Found In Home With Pipe Bomb Making Materials

Washington County Sheriff’s officials have released more information about what they recovered from a Town of Farmington home where a 22-year- man tried to make pipe bombs. The County’s drug unit executed a search warrant at the residence in the 1200 block of Lakeview Road last Friday. The home does not belong to the man. During the search 986 grams or nearly two pounds of high grade marijuana, two firearms, nearly $11,000 in cash, a pickup truck and ATV were seized. Materials for making pipe bombs, but no live devices were also found. It’s estimated the marijuana had a street value of about $9,000. As a result of the investigation that continued over the weekend drug charges have been added to the making explosives charges. The suspect was charged yesterday in Washington County Court.
