Drunk Teen Crashes into Winnebago County Squad Vehicle
A 17-year old driver was arrested on suspicion of driving
drunk and crashing into a parked Winnebago County Sheriff deputy squad vehicle.
The crash happened just after 1:00am Sunday morning while deputies were helping
another driver in the ditch along State Highway 76 in the Town of
were outside waiting for the vehicle to find its way out of the ditch, another
car slammed into the back of the deputy’s squad.
The 17-year old behind the
wheel was taken into custody by the Wisconsin State Patrol for OWI, while three
16-year old passengers were cited for underage alcohol violations.
