Duncan Hines Cake Mixes Recalled Due to Salmonella

The FDA is investigating the manufacturing facility that
made recalled Duncan Hines cake mixes after a sample tested positive for
salmonella. The FDA and CDC say the sample contained salmonella that matched
what they had collected from ill people.

Conagra Brands is conducting a
voluntary recall of Duncan Hines cake mixes from the market as the agencies
investigate the facility. It’s recommended for consumer to not bake with or eat
the recalled product – and it’s also advised to not eat uncooked batter, flour,
or cake mix powder.
