Early Saturday Morning Hit And Run Causes Injury In City Of Fond du Lac

A hit and run incident early Saturday morning caused injuries, according to the City of Fond du Lac Police Department.

Police logs show FDL PD called out at 2:35 a.m. to the Sidetracked Saloon located in the 300 block of W. Scott St. Officers arrived to find numerous people outside the saloon, with reports of an SUV involved in a hit and run, causing unnamed injurie to a male, with the SUV then leaving the scene.

Officers were looking for a silver Chevy Blazer S10, which lost the front passenger side fog light housing and fog light assembly during the incident, which also caused injury to pedestrians. There was no further details given as to the extent of the injuries.

The vehicle was finally located, but no additional information was given as to any citations or arrests made as a result of the hit and run.

The matter remains under investigation.
