Earth Day Events in Fond du Lac

Sunday is Earth Day, and some local groups are hosting events to
remind people to take care of the planet. From 1:00 until 4:00 in the afternoon,
the Sisters of Saint Agnes host their third annual Earth Day
celebration. Their use of solar panels will be shown, along with tours of the
woods, and demonstrations of electric bikes. A group of students from
UW-Oshkosh will also host a presentation on how their biodigester benefits the
environment around the area.
