Elections Commission Warns About Incorrect Mailers

Wisconsin election officials are warning voters to keep an eye out for absentee voting mailers with incorrect information. The State Elections Commission has been getting questions about a mailer from the Center for Voter Information – which is connected to the nonprofit Voter Participation Center in Washington DC. The mailers contain absentee ballot applications and envelopes to mail them back to municipal clerks – but some of those mailers have the wrong address for clerks and the back of the application has confusing information about deadlines for requesting ballots.
