Emergency 911 Service Interrupted

Emergency 911 phone service was restored mid-morning Friday for several law enforcement agencies that lost that service when a fiber optic line was cut in the Oshkosh area. The outage started about 4:30 Thursday afternoon and was fixed by 9:30 Friday morning. The Green Lake County Sheriff’s and Ripon Police Departments rerouted their calls through the Fond du Lac County Communications Center and Waushara County Sheriff’s officials asked residents to call the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office. Service also affected the southwestern portion of Oshkosh.
