Two programs offered by Envision Greater Fond du Lac will
benefit from a grant from the Alliant Energy Foundation. Leadership Fond du Lac
and Breakfast on the Farm were recently awarded a $3,000 grant from the
foundation, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the
communities where Alliant Energy has a presence. “We are grateful for the
Alliant Energy Foundation’s continued support of our programs,” Melissa
Worthington, vice president of chamber services and strategic advancement at
Envision Greater Fond du Lac, said. “This grant provides necessary support that
allows us to continue to offer these programs in an affordable manner for our
community.”

Leadership Fond du Lac is a community-based program that
provides information and experience to individuals willing to make a lasting commitment
to service to the greater Fond du Lac area. Students meet in the class once a
month from September to May and participate in a group project that intends to
leave a lasting impact on the community.

The Fond du Lac Area Breakfast on the Farm is a program offered
by Envision Greater Fond du Lac’s Agri-Business Council. The Breakfast on the
Farm provides community members with the opportunity to experience area
agriculture through farm tours, educational displays and a delicious breakfast.
This year’s breakfast is coming up Sunday, June 23rd at Loehr Farms
in Eden.
