Essential Rock Church Using Trinity As Church Again

Officials with the Essential Rock Church in Fond du Lac are excited about their new home. They first came to Fond du Lac from the Appleton-Menasha area where they were members of the Christ the Rock Church. They operated out of some store fronts on Main Street, but now they are in the process of moving into the former Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor John Slotten says they are grateful to both God and Louie Lange of Commonwealth who developed Trinity into a restaurant location. After serving as the site for two different restaurants, Trinity is being returned to a house of worship. Pastor Jake Meyers says the transition back to a church hasn’t really been too difficult. Pastor Slotten says they do want to open the church up to the community for other events. He says Girl Scout, Boys Scouts and other organizations are welcome to contact them about using it. He also says the beautiful patio they have lends itself to weddings. Their first church service at their new location will be on Sunday, December 20th at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Slotten says they will also have Christmas Eve and Christmas morning services at the church.
