Evers Issues Exec Order Shutting Down Election

With the number of coronavirus infections on the rise, Governor Tony Evers announced Monday that he is shutting down the election that was set to take place Tuesday. The executive order eliminates any in-person voting and moves the state election to June 9. Evers also is calling lawmakers back into session so that a new date, if approved, can be set. Early indications are that Repulican lawmakers will challenge the order. Stay tuned to KFIZ for more updates.
