Evers Says Redistricting Can Be Done Fairly…In The Courts

Governor Tony Evers says he does think Wisconsin redistricting can be done fairly – by the courts

“It’s gonna work out. If it goes to court it’s gonna work out, and I’m confident the people of Wisconsin will have fair maps.”

The Republican controlled legislature is preparing to draw new legislative and congressional districts. Evers has the option of vetoing the resulting maps. A three judge federal panel OR the state Supreme Court could then draw new congressional and legislative boundaries.
