Evers Says “Safer At Home” Is Working

Governor Tony Evers said
Monday, the order he issued last week for Wisconsin is working to slow the spread of
coronavirus. Evers says “science and data tells us that “safer at home” is effective. Stay the course…the more we all stay “safer at home”, the sooner we can get through the worst of this. We’re saving lives by staying “safer at home.”

Evers acknowledged the
state is entering the worst of the pandemic, as the total number of confirmed
cases reached 1,221 on Monday. And while that number continues to grow on a
global scale, it’s also important to note that almost 167,000 people have
recovered from the virus world wide, with almost 6,000 of those from the US
