Evers Upset With Ruling, Republicans

Governor Evers expressed frustration Wednesday night in a press call after his Safer At Home Orders were struck down by the State Supreme Court. Republicans had asked for a stay to put something else in place, but that was not granted by the court.

Evers said “There’s no 6 days, the Republicans have never had a plan and so we are at this point in time a state with with no expectations as it relates to this virus.”

Evers says his staff are working to put together a new scope statement to help the state contend with the lack of guidelines, but that he expected local county health offices to start issuing their own orders shortly.
