Explorium Grand Opening Saturday

The Explorium at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center will have a Grand Opening celebration Saturday. It’s from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. DNR Wildlife Educator Liz Herzmann says there will be a ribbon cutting, guided tours and hikes, crafts and more. She says the ribbon cutting is at 10 a.m. and the exhibits open to the general public at 11 a.m. She says there will also be some live animals. She says going through the exhibits is like a trip through time at the Horicon Marsh. Herzmann says one exhibit people should enjoy is a simulated airboat ride. She says people have their photo taken on the airboat ride can send an email copy to themselves. The fee for the Explorium is being waived for the Grand Opening. Wisconsin DNR photo.
