Fair Entertainment More Wisconsin Based This Summer

The Fond du Lac County Fair will be featuring entertainment on the Grand Stand this summer that has more of a Wisconsin than national following. Johnny Wad, The Mantz Brothers, and Hairball have all performed in the area before. Fair Manager Matt Immel says it’s getting expensive to book national acts and many fairs are cutting back. He says the biggest request of those attending the fair is to keep the price at the gate as affordable as possible. That being said the Mantz Brothers have had a couple of national releases and two years ago opened for Jerrod Niemann at the fair. Johnny Wad has played in the area before. Last year Hairball appeared at Walleye Weekend. He says they are kind of a 80s tribute band so you get a good show when they perform. Meanwhile the Fair will have new attractions like a Dinosaur exhibit in the Family Land area. There will even be a T-Rex that will roam the grounds. The Fair is July 20th through the 24th.
