Fale Begins Interim Presidency At Marian University

New Marian University interim president Robert Fale began his first day on the job this past week speaking with faculty and staff and meeting with his executive cabinet. Fale, who succeeds Dr. Steven DiSalvo, will serve as Marian’s fifteenth president while the university conducts a national presidential search.

“It is an honor to be asked to serve Marian University, an organization that is so deeply rooted in educational excellence as a ministry of the Church,” said Interim President Robert Fale. “I appreciate the warm welcome from faculty, staff and students, and I am looking forward to serving with them.”

Fale brings to Marian University more than 30 years of leadership experience in guiding organizations, in addition to proven achievement in leadership development, financial growth and strategic planning. Since January 2012, Fale served as the President and CEO of Robert Fale HealthCare Consulting, LLC, and for 16 years previously served as President and CEO of Agnesian HealthCare, Inc., an organization also sponsored by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes.

As Marian conducts a presidential search, Fale plans to build upon the university’s strategic plan, while continuing to move the university forward and to help drive innovative initiatives that perpetuate academic excellence and service based on Marian’s Mission and Core Values.
