Fall River Man Sentenced For High Speed Chase

A 32-year-old Fall River man has been sentenced to a month in jail for running from a Dodge County Sheriff’s deputy during a traffic stop in September of 2016. The deputy tried to pull Daniel Kidd over on State Highway 73 in the Town of Elba for speeding. Kidd was going faster than 95 miles an hour. Eventually he veered off Old State Highway 73 and fled on foot. When he was caught a breath test put his blood alcohol level at almost two times the legal limit. The jail sentence comes with work release privileges and he will also be placed on probation for four years.
