Fatal Accident In Town Of Fox Lake

On 07-04-16 at 5:34 pm, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 33 near Pleasant Rd., in the Township of Fox Lake, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Preliminary investigation shows that one vehicle was traveling west bound on State Highway 33. The other vehicle was traveling east bound on State Highway 33, when the vehicles collided.  The driver (lone occupant) of the west bound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner.  The driver of the east bound vehicle sustained life threatening injuries and was flown to UW hospital by Flight for Life.  The passenger in the east bound vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital by ambulance.

Identification of those involved is being withheld until Wednesday July, 6^th, 2016. 

Assisting at the scene was:  Fox Lake Fire and EMS, Randolph Fire and EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Fox Lake Police Department, Randolph Police Department, Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office, Flight for Life helicopter.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
