Fatal Punching Suspect Set to Stand Trial
The man accused of punching another man during a dispute
over $18 – eventually causing the man’s death – is being ordered to stand
trial. 34-year old Christopher Barry is charged with one count of aggravated
battery for allegedly punching Steven Mallas back on October 7th.
Mallas died five days later after having his jaw wired shut and suffering edema
into his chest area – and contracting bronchial pneumonia.
Barry is set to
return to court on December 6th.
