Fatal Winnebago County Accident

Twenty-year-old Christopher Howard of Neenah was the driver who was killed in a one-vehicle accident in the Town of Winchester early Sunday morning. Winnebago County Sheriff’s officials say he was on Grandview Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road and struck a tree. He and a passenger were taken to ThedaCare in Neenah. Howard died there a short time later. The passenger was taken there in critical condition too. Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the accident.

Alcohol and speed were factors in a traffic accident early Sunday morning in the Town of Winchester that left one man dead and another critically injured. Winnebago County Sheriff’s officials say the driver failed to negotiate a curve on Grandview Road went off the road and struck a tree. Both men, who are from the Town of Winchester-Neenah area, were taken to ThedaCare in Neenah, The driver died there. The passenger is in critical condition. The accident west of Larsen was reported shortly after 2 a.m.
