FCEDC Economic Forecast Expresses Some Optimism In Economy For 2016
Fifty-four percent of those serving on the first ever economic forecast panel for the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation believe the economic performance will be better in 2016. Another 42 percent believe it will remain stable from 2015. On employment 58 percent believe it will remain stable next year while 37.5 percent say it will increase. Asked about wages 71 percent believed they would increase and 25 percent thought they would remain stable. The forecast also asked questions about the state’s economy, revenues, capital investments and more. Overall the panel expressed some optimism for the coming year.
