FDL Aggravated Assault Suspect Charged

One of the two men has been charged who is suspected of participating in a fight last weekend that left a 23-year-old Fond du Lac man in critical condition. Thirty-five-year-old Lucio Falcon-Silva was charged in Fond du Lac County Court Tuesday with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct. He posted a $1,000 cash bond and has a preliminary hearing on April 24th. The other suspect, a 26-year-old Fond du Lac man, fled from the state with plans to leave the country. Fond du Lac Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says they worked with the District Attorney’s Office to get a nationwide warrant for aggravated battery and the man was picked up in Texas by Dallas Police Sunday as he was getting off the bus. Klein says it took some good work by officers to learn of the man’s plans get the warrant and coordinate with Dallas Police officers to get the man into custody. The victim was beaten outside an apartment complex on Reid Terrace Friday night. He was punched in the face and repeatedly kicked in the head resulting in bleeding in the brain. He is at Froedtert Hospital.
