FDL Agri-Business Scholarship Opportunity

The Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce Agri-Business Council is pleased to announce that scholarships are available to individuals pursuing post-secondary training at a college, trade school, technical college, or university relating to the fields of agriculture and agricultural business significant to the local community. 

Applications are available on line at www.fdlac.com/agri-business-council.html or at the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce (207 N Main Street).  If you have any questions, please call the Association of Commerce at (920) 921-9500 or e-mail Brenda Gudex, Director of Agricultural Programs at brenda@fdlac.com.   The completed, typed application form must be received by the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce Agri-Business Scholarship Committee on or before Friday, May 3, 2013 (4:30 p.m. deadline).

For the ease of interested students, the Agri-Business Council Scholarship and the Fond du Lac Area Foundation Harold Reinecke Scholarship forms have been combined as one. The Fond du Lac Area Foundation Harold Reinecke Scholarship honors the long-time county extension agent by establishing a scholarship to aid young people in training for a career in agriculture. Several scholarships will be awarded ranging from $100 to $500. Winners will be announced in the spring of the year of the application.
