Since its inception 41 years ago, the Fond du Lac Area Foundation has helped to enhance the quality of life in the Fond du Lac Area by awarding over $15,000,000 back into the community in the form of charitable grants to our local non-profits. This dinner allows us to honor some of the great people and organizations that have invested time and money in helping the Fond du Lac Area Foundation in its vision for creating a better community….today and forever.
Community members have established over 315 funds and one supporting organization, the Sophia Foundation, Inc., with a combined market value of more than $33,000,000. Each of those funds represent a unique charitable interest, including support for scholarships, churches, youth activities, the arts, the needy, the environment, etc. With the Fond du Lac Area Foundation’s Legacy Society, you can make provisions today that will meet the needs of tomorrow. You can provide a while generating tax savings and even personal income through deferred gifts to the Foundation. You can become a by naming the Foundation as a beneficiary in your will, estate plan or through a life insurance policy designation. If you have already done so, please let the Foundation know. It isn’t necessary to let us know an amount, just that you have done it.
