FDL-Area Teens Face Felony Charges in Dodge County Court

Two teenage boys from the Fond du Lac area are facing
felony charges after they allegedly stole a vehicle from Beaver Dam, and
wrecked another stolen vehicle after driving it into Beaver Dam Lake.


18-year-old Tyler Rodgers from Fond du Lac and 17-year-old
Kaden Solano of North Fond du Lac appeared in Dodge County Court on Monday.
Rodgers and Solano each face felony charge of driving or operating a vehicle
without the owner’s consent. In addition, Solano is charged with a felony for attempting
to flee or elude an officer and a misdemeanor charge of bail jumping.


Reports say Waupun Police pulled over a Dodge Ram pickup
truck Saturday night after getting a report that the truck had been stolen from
Beaver Dam on Friday morning. Everyone inside had ran from the scene, but Police
eventually caught up with the suspects, including Rodgers and Solano. Both
suspects eventually admitted to stealing the truck, and another vehicle – a Ford
Escape – which was taken from Fond du Lac and found in Beaver Dam Lake on
Friday morning.


Online court records show Rodgers was placed on a $500 cash
b
ond and is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on October 24th.
Solano was placed on a $3,000 cash bond, and will return to court for a preliminary
hearing on September 19
th. Both are not allowed to operate a motor
vehicle without the permission of the court.
