FDL Bank Robber Sentenced

The 26-year-old Oshkosh man who robbed the Guaranty Bank inside the Pick ‘N Save store on East Johnson Street in Fond du Lac has been sentenced. Maranatha Henderson was sentenced in Fond du Lac County Court Thursday to 12 years in prison, 15 1/2 years of extended supervision and a year of probation. He was also ordered to pay $1,700 in restitution. According to the criminal complaint Henderson went up to the counter at the bank on March 15th and put down a note saying it was a robbery and he had a gun. He later told a detective he did not have a gun, but admitted after seeing a still video photo from the bank, “yea that’s me.” Henderson allegedly planned the robbery with his girlfriend who waited for him in a car outside. Twenty-five-year-old Shafia Jones has a motion hearing in her case next Wednesday.
