FDL Citizens Police Academy Getting Underway

A number of residents will get a “behind the scenes” look at the way the Fond du Lac Police Department works during the annual Citizen’s Police Academy that gets underway today. They have a full class that will meet for 8 weeks. Police Officer Erik Foster has a hand in the class. He says it is interesting to hear the different perspectives class participants have when they have completed a ride along with a police officer. The Citizen’s Academy program was designed under the premise that an informed community is a safer community.  The Citizen’s Academy is offered each fall.
