FDL County Approaches 17,000 COVID-19 Negative Tests

Fond du Lac County is approaching 17,000 negative tests for COVID-19, as a result of the 154 additional negative tests reported Friday. An additional 26 positive confirmed cases were also reported, bringing the county total to 855. Hospitalizations were up 30% on Friday, with now 13 people receiving treatment as a result of the coronavirus. There were an additional 11 cases added to the active list, bringing the total active to 214, while 15 more people were listed as “recovered”, with recovered cases now at 632. The total positive cases reported this week now stand at 60, with two more days in the reporting week to go. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller will be updating the “Safe Restart” Status Report on Monday afternoon, and we will see if the recent uptick in cases the past few weeks, will trigger a return to Phase One of the restart.
