FDL County Board Races

There were three contested races for the Fond du Lac County Board Tuesday. In District 2 Incumbent Gary Will defeated challenger Andrew Zuelke. Will won a third term on the board. It’s the first time he faced opposition for the seat. He says, “So I really believe it is good to have opposition, that’s when Democracy is healthiest that’s when you are most accountable to the voters, when they have a choice.” In District 6 Michael Beer defeated Lowell Prill for the seat previously held by Tom Dornbrook before Dornbrook moved to become Campbellsport Police Chief. Meanwhile incumbent Joseph Koch held on to the District 9 seat defeating Dornbrook by 32 votes (330 votes to 298).
