FDL County DA Appreciates Help In Robbery Case

Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney was pleased to see a jury find a 29-year-old Fond du Lac man guilty of all four charges for robbing a woman at gunpoint in the Friar Tuck’s parking lot. The jury found Domonick Morrow guilty Wednesday of the charges stemming from the October 5th robbery. Toney says Morrow was looking for an opportunity. He says, “When you look at the Friar Tuck’s parking lot near Matthew Tires it is more secluded area to some of these other areas so it may have been a target of opportunity that it was a softer target at that point than some of the other areas he may have been looking at.” Toney says he appreciates the hard work of Fond du Lac Police officers, a K9 Unit and witnesses that stepped up to allow the successful prosecution of Morrow. He says, “Just a community standing up and saying we are not going to tolerate this type of behavior and we greatly appreciate those citizens stepping up when they see something like that and I hope other folks will have the courage to do that in the future if they see something that they believe is wrong and should be reported, it is very helpful to law enforcement.” Morrow robbed the woman of her cell phone. He will be sentenced on June 22nd.
