FDL County Health Dept Flu Clinics Begin

The Fond du Lac County Health Department has begun a month long program to provide influenza vaccines in the schools. County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says they will be visiting 55 schools across the County. She says they use a vaccine that’s just for kids. She says the clinics they will hold for adults this month and next month will be listed on their website, but you can always give them a call at (920) 929-3085 for more specific information. Mueller says some people put off getting vaccinated, but the vaccine should provide protection through the fall, winter and spring months. The first clinics for adults in the County will be Friday at the Fairwater Bank from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and next Tuesday there will be a clinic at the Salem United Methodist Church in Eldorado from 1 to 3 p.m. The cost is $25 per dose.
