FDL County Public Health Rolls Out “Safe Restart” Plan

The “Fond du Lac County
Safe Restart” plan has been rolled out by the FDL County Public Health
Department. Fond du Lac
County
starts out in
Phase One, and will be updated daily on the county website. Public Health
Officer Kim Mueller says the specifics of each phase are based on benchmark,
monitored daily. Phase One includes businesses that choose to open can, but
need to use the general best practice guidelines from the WEDC.

Limit capacity
to 25%, and encourage the wearing of masks by both staff and customers.

Events
held outdoors should allow for the 6 ft. social distancing guidelines. Phase
One also suggests people aged 65 or older, or those who are medically
compromised, to limit travel and remain at home as much as possible.

The Safe
Restart Plan is also recommending that employees continue to work remotely as
much as possible, as well as utilizing online education for those in school. You
