FDL County Sheriffs Department Warns Of More eBay Scams

The FDL County Sheriff’s Office is again reminding residents to ignore the emails this time of year, requesting that you purchase eBay gift cards. The warning comes after Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call from a 68-year old female from Malone, who told deputies she received a request to purchase the gift cards, which she did, only to find out it was a scam. The woman is now out $400.
