FDL County Sheriffs Squad Car Hit
A drunk driver hit a Fond du Lac
County Sheriff’s squad car while the deputy was investigating a disorderly
conduct incident at a Johnsburg tavern Friday night. The deputy was outside of
the tavern looking for a man and a woman involved in the disorderly conduct
incident when the deputy’s squad was hit by a vehicle that failed to stop for a
stop sign at the intersection of County Highways Q and W. The man driving the
car was arrested for operating while intoxicated. No one was injured in the
incident. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. The State Patrol is
investigating the accident, which was reported at 8:41 p.m.
