FDL County Traffic Stop Results In The Arrest Of 4

The recent rash of traffic stops producing counterfeit drugs continued over the weekend.

FDL County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt released a social media statement, and said “This past Sunday, a traffic stop resulted in another significant illegal drug seizure, four suspected drug traffickers in custody, and a firearm seized.

“Deputy Birkholz stopped the vehicle at 7:30pm near I-41 and CTH F for a traffic violation, and Sgt. Kohlman along with his K9 partner Ace conducted an exterior sniff of the car.  Ace indicated on the vehicle, and a subsequent search resulted in deputies locating 181 counterfeit Oxycodone pills (blue) laced with Fentanyl, 18 Adderall pills (orange), 5 grams of Ecstacy (small Ziploc), 80 grams of marijuana, paraphernalia, $800 cash, and a revolver.”

The four occupants of the vehicle, all from the Milwaukee and Kenosha areas, were taken into custody and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail for a variety of drug related charges, and one man is also facing a charge of felon in possession of a firearm.
