FDL County Unemployment In June Registers 8.3%, Down From May

It might be a sliver of
light at the end of a very long, dark tunnel. And maybe it will start to get
brighter. The DWD released their unemployment figures for June, and those
numbers show that all 72 counties in the state saw their unemployment numbers
drop in June, compared to May. Fond
du Lac
County

saw a 3% decrease in June, standing at 8.3%. 


Most other counties adjacent to Fond du Lac saw similar figures, with Winnebago County
dropping from 10.9% to 7.7%. Calumet
County
saw a decrease
from 9.2% to 7.7%. Green
Lake County

went from 12.9% to 8%. Sheboygan
County
saw their
unemployment rate go from 12.7% to 7.9%. Dodge County
saw a slight dip, going from 9.7% to 7.3%. Statewide, unemployment rates ranged
from 6.9% in Wausau to 10% in the Milwaukee area.
