FDL Elks Announce Winner Of US Scholarship Constitution Exam

Each year the Wisconsin Elks Association sponsors the Elks – U.S. Constitution Scholarship Exam, an objective and subjective test pertaining to the U.S. Constitution. Contestants (high school seniors) are qualified through 32 local tests, each of the 32 Elks lodges throughout Wisconsin are allowed to send one student representative, a high school senior, to the state exam.


Fond du Lac Elks Lodge #57 completed its’ local edition of the annual Elks U.S. Constitution Scholarship Exam this week. High School seniors from throughout Fond du Lac County have had the opportunity to compete. The Fond du Lac Elks Lodge #57 would like to thank all of the schools for recommending such fine young people for participation in this year’s program.


We would like to compliment all participants on their efforts and we are proud to announce this years’ local (FDL County) contest winner: Katelyn Wulff (the daughter of James & Christine Wulff) of Theresa. Katelyn is a member of the 2016 Senior Class at Lomira High School. She will travel to Oshkosh on Sunday April 10, 2016 to represent our area and compete against the winners of 31 other local contests in the State Final Wisconsin Elks Association – U.S. Constitution Scholarship Exam. Scholarship awards to be distributed as a result of the State Program are expected to exceed $20,000.00 The results of the state final will be announced in a Press Release following the Wisconsin Elks Association Convention in early May.
