FDL Fire/Rescue Quickly Extinguishes Early Morning Fire

The cause of an early
morning fire is being investigated by Fond
du Lac Fire/Rescue. Crews were called just before 4:30
a.m. Thursday morning, for a report of a porch fire on Everett St. Personnel
arrived to find a small fire burning on a newly constructed wood stair case
that lead to the front porch of the structure. Crews were able to extinguish
the fire quickly. There was moderate damage to the staircase. FDL PD assisted
at the scene.
