FDL Firefighters “Fill the Boot” Campaign Continues Today

Fond du Lac Firefighters Local 400 continues their “Fill
the Boot” campaign today and tomorrow. Firefighters will be raising money for the
Muscular Dystrophy Association at two different locations today – at Fire
Station number two at Fourth Street and National Avenue, and at the
KFIZ/Mountain Dog Media studios at 254 Winnebago Drive – across from A&W. Donations
will be collected at both locations from 10 am until 5 pm, and all the money
raised goes back to families in the area who are impacted by muscular dystrophy,
ALS and other diseases that weaken muscle strength and limit mobility. Magic
Car Wash in Fond du Lac is matching donations up to the first 10-thousand
dollars of this year’s campaign. Firefighters will conclude this year’s Fill
the Boot campaign tomorrow (Friday) at the corner of Main Street and 1^st
Street in downtown Fond du Lac.
