FDL Firefighters Local 400 to “Fill the Boot” for MDA

Fond du Lac Firefighters will once again be asking for
the public’s help to “Fill the Boot” and raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy
Association. The Fill the Boot campaign begins next Thursday, August 1^st
at the corner of Division Street and Park Avenue from 10 am until 5 pm. Thanks
to a generous match from the owner of Magic Car Wash Express, the community’s
donations will be matched up to $10,000. The Fill the Boot campaign was started
in the early 1950’s by the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF),
and more than 60 years later, the IAFF continues the tradition – raising more
than $26 million each year for MDA.

Thursday, August 8^th – at the KFIZ/Mountain
Dog Media studios (254 Winnebago Drive) & at Fond du Lac Fire Station #2 (4^th
Street & National Avenue) – both locations, 10 AM to 5 PM.

Friday, August 9^th: Main Street & 1^st
Street in Fond du Lac – 10 AM to 5 PM.
