FDL Friend Of Education Winner

Kenneth Holehouse, a substitute teacher and volunteer who has dedicated himself to providing assistance in our program for incarcerated youth from across Fond du Lac County, was recognized as the 2013 Friend of Education. Mr. Holehouse was presented with a plaque at the May 13 Board of Education meeting in honor of his many years of service. Mr. Holehouse inspires students and supports our teachers in making a positive difference.  Impressively, he has helped build a strong love of reading among students over the years and worked to build a diverse collection of reading materials through collaboration with the Public Library.  Mr. Holehouse is shown here with (left) Dr. James Sebert, Superintendent of Schools, and Bill Morgan, Co-President of the Fond du Lac Teachers’ Education Association.
