FDL Home Invasion Suspect Arrested

Fond du Lac Police have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with three night time home invasions on the southeast side of the City. The man was interviewed by a detective Saturday and admitted to the three home entries and a fourth where the homeowners were unaware he had entered the home. The suspect allegedly told the investigator he was nude during three of the incidents and touched a woman while she was sleeping during one incident. Police say entry was gained through unlocked doors. The suspect was arrested on charges of burglary, attempted 2nd degree sexual assault and lewd and lascivious behavior. Fond du Lac Police Chief Bill Lamb thanked the community and in particular the residents of the neighborhood where the home invasions occurred for their cooperation and support during the investigation. He also commended lead detective Steve Kaufman for his work that led to the arrest.
