FDL Leaf Collection Underway

The City of Fond du Lac’s annual leaf collection began Monday with crews starting in the northeast section of the city.  The collection will work in a clockwise direction – to the southeast, southwest, and northwest sections. The leaf collection process will continue for approximately seven weeks, ending on Friday, December 4.   There is a map available on the City’s website showing the progress collection crews make.  The Public Works Department anticipates that crews will complete approximately three clockwise sweeps through the city this fall, weather and time permitting.  There’s also the City’s yard waste drop off site on Doty Street if you would rather drop your leaves off.  City residents should rake leaves in rows next to the curb for collection by City crews.  For more do’s and don’ts for the City leaf collection see the City’s website
