FDL Man Accused Of Killing Grandmother Appears In Court On Trial

The incident in 2019 left his grandmother dead. Now, the trial involving the man has begun in Fond du Lac County.

Gregory Spittel is accused of taking the life of his 75-year old grandmother, Carole Foreman. He is charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide along with numerous other counts.

According to court documents, Foreman released information to local authorities regarding Spittel, which resulted in Spittel losing custody of his children.

Spittel allegedly struck Foreman numerous times, resulting in Foreman falling and hitting her head on a concrete floor, with the injuries sustained in the fall causing her death.

The trial is scheduled for a week, and Spittel would be sentenced to life in prison if he is found guilty of the charges.
