FDL Man Arrested After Drugs, Gun Found in Car

A 21-year old Fond du Lac man is waiting to learn the charges against him in Dodge County – after being arrested in Mayville for driving with a large amount of marijuana and a loaded handgun. Officers reported a lot of movement inside the car after the man was pulled over for a seatbelt violation last month. A K9 unit detected something in the car, and officers found over 34 grams of marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia and a loaded gun. The driver also failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating under the influence. Charges referred to the District Attorney’s office include Possession with Intent to Deliver, being Armed while Intoxicated, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
